Board Polish

Need professional help ?

If you don't clean and polish your boat for a long time, it will develop a dirty and dull surface over time. As time passes, these surfaces become increasingly difficult to polish, and you will
Depending on the type of boat you have, there are different polishing methods.

Fiberglass Boat Polishing

The outer surface of a fiberglass boat is usually made of a special resin called a gel coat. Over time, the soft surface is eroded by seawater, sun and abrasion. However, in time, this gel layer begins to lose its properties and becomes worn.

Professional boat polishing restores the original shine of the paint, removes moire and minor scratches. The original paint takes on a more permanent and vibrant appearance.

Painted Boats

On the other hand, the paint applied to the exterior surface of the boat contains substances that give it a shiny appearance. The paint in contact with sun and salt water loses its properties over time. Polishing these surfaces of the boat helps remove dead paint and return it to its original glossy appearance.

As a result, professional polishing is essential to maintain the boat's original shine, restore luster and extend the life of the paint and gelcoat. Periodic polishing will save you from large expenses. It will keep your boat from looking pale, dull and old and provide a pleasant appearance and enjoyable use.

Propeller and shaft maintenance

Those who own boats know very well that shipworm and sea creatures can stick to the propeller, shaft, bow thruster and gauges that remain in the water, causing problems with boat vibration (balance) and, over time, a significant loss of power or speed. Prolonged inactivity of the boat also accelerates this process. So, if you do not go out to sea often, it is recommended to start the engine and check the propeller at least once a week, and if possible, twice.

Although antifouling paints are used to neutralize these creatures, it is difficult to retain them on metal surfaces. As there is an electron exchange between metal parts underwater and the propeller rotates at high speeds, they do not hold the paint.
To maximize the performance and efficiency of our boat, it is important to clean the propeller and shaft regularly and, if possible, clean and maintain it once or twice a year.
